Job Description

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our software solutions. You’ll work in an agile, cross-functional team, closely collaborating with software engineers to improve our CI/CD pipeline, optimize our system, and ensure the availability, scalability, and security of our services.

Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement efficient CI/CD pipelines.
  2. Collaborate closely with the software development team to understand their needs and ensure system reliability.
  3. Manage our cloud infrastructure and ensure its scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
  4. Employ automation tools to streamline operations and processes.
  5. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  6. Maintain and improve system security measures.
  7. Stay up-to-date on relevant technologies and propose changes and updates as necessary.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps role, preferably within a software development environment.
  3. Proven experience with cloud-based platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  4. Extensive knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Travis CI, GitLab CI, etc.) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  5. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  6. Familiarity with network protocols and security considerations for large scale systems.
  7. Comfortable working in an agile, team-oriented environment.
  8. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Haves

Certifications in cloud platforms such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional DevOps Engineer, etc. Experience with serverless architecture.
