In this pivotal role, you’ll develop and deploy automated test software to support production operations in Canada and France. Acting as a bridge between Operations and R&D, you’ll contribute to new product introductions, troubleshoot production challenges, and drive improvements in operational efficiency and product quality.ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement test strategies aligned with production goalsDesign and develop automated test software using TestStand, Python, and .NET, with a focus on structured and reusable codeIntegrate test systems with ERP/MES platforms to ensure traceability and intuitive user interfacesCollaborate with R&D to align testing requirements and specificationsUpdate and adapt test sequences in response to technical changes and ECNsOptimize test systems to enhance yield and reduce cycle timesSupport troubleshooting of production stations and contribute to CAPA, 8D, and 5 Whys initiativesPlan and execute system qualification and integration activitiesDeploy, test, and validate tools in productionEnsure smooth deployment and maintenance of software updates in production environmentsSkills and Minimum Experience RequiredBachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electric/Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalentMinimum 3 years of experience in a relevant role (experience in manufacturing or electronics is a plus)Proficiency in TestStand and Java for test automationStrong skills in object-oriented programming (Python, C#, C)Solid understanding of electronics, embedded systems, and communication protocols (UART, MODBUS, Ethernet)Experience in automating production tests for electronic boards and devicesFamiliarity with Linux and web technologies (HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, DNS, REST APIs)Experience developing embedded test software for microcontrollers (STM32)Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelinesProficiency in Git and TFS for version controlScripting experience with Python, Bash, PowerShellHands-on experience with NPI and deploying manufacturing processes/equipmentExperience managing engineering changes (ECO)Familiarity with ERP and MES systemsStrong organizational and planning abilitiesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAdaptability in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environmentEffective communication and interpersonal skillsBilingual French and English: To serve clients and external service providers across Canada and USAProficiency in Microsoft Office SuitePreferred Skills and ExperienceKnowledge of electronic board manufacturing methods and IPC standardsFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvementKnowledge of ISO 9001 & 14001 standardsExperience in setting up and monitoring performance indicatorsWe value diversity and are an equal opportunity employer.
