Service Representative (SaskTel Stores – Incented Sales Rep)Location: Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, CanadaNumber of positions: 1Salary: $27.42 per hour (base salary plus up to $6,944 annual incentive commission)Type of position: Perm Part TimeClosing date: 11/14/2025Position OverviewRepresents the Corporation in sales incentivized face‑to‑face residential and business customer contacts. Provides an exceptional customer experience, representing customers’ best interests. Determines customer needs and requirements, recommends solutions, and finalizes the sale of products and services. Completes internal work and procedures to ensure the customer’s experience is positive.Typical Duties & ResponsibilitiesPersuasively promote the sale of products and/ or services on an initiated and/or demand basis in a competitive environment in order to meet sales targets.Determine customer needs and recommend solutions to the customer, utilizing support personnel as required.Handle device hardware and accessory setup, review customer contracts, and educate/inform customers about their services.Develop and maintain a working knowledge of SaskTel’s products, services, systems, and pricing options.Handle all customer inquiries/complaints and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner in order to meet customer service and productivity targets, and positively contribute to customer survey results.Arrange customer security deposits, handle cash and payments, reconcile monies associated with daily sales and bill payments, and prepare bank deposits.Capture customer requirements, review customer request work orders for accuracy, and adjust/correct errors and/or omissions on customer accounts.Participate in sales campaigns and retention activities on an initiated and/or demand basis.Maintain related reports.Deal with customers for the purpose of retail sales, product returns and repairs, trade shows, equipment demonstrations, organizing product displays, and may be required to attend customer premises.Monitor/administer stock inventory for products available through the retail outlet.Assist other internal departments as required.QualificationsWorking knowledge of techniques needed to persuasively promote the sale of products and/ or services, typically gained through 2 years experience in a sales role.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence, persuade, and deal effectively with others.Working knowledge of SaskTel’s products and services.Analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.Working knowledge of personal computers and various software applications.Ability to multi‑task.Ability to plan and organize in a self‑directed and public environment.Ability to work under continual pressure, and adapt to a constantly changing work environment.Keyboarding skills 20 WPM.Successful completion of prescribed training courses.Application ProcessShortlisted candidates will receive an online assessment via email; complete the assessment within 48 hours of receipt.The test is provided by ESkills and measures sales ability and customer service skills.
