With nearly 300 retail locations, we proudly employ more than 30,000 team members.We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Director of Finance (Reporting & Consolidation) to join our Finance team in Langley, BC.Reporting to the Vice President, Finance & Enterprise Planning, you will be responsible for managing consolidated financial reporting and overseeing the financial close across the organization. In this role, you will provide technical accounting guidance to ensure proper accounting practices and accurate financial reporting, as well as overseeing external audits and supporting acquisition financial modelling and due diligence.Managing financial close and reporting across all Pattison Food Group entities; overseeing and approving financial reporting and analysis to support executive-level financial close meetings.Leading external audits by managing workflow, prioritizing projects, and coordinating resources; li>Providing technical research and application of accounting guidelines and preparing detailed technical accounting memos to support accounting practices and significant transactions.Updating accounting policies as required by new guidance and ensuring that all practices align with organizational accounting standards.Developing financial models to assess acquisition viability and implications, providing recommendations to senior management, and coordinating financial due diligence across business areas.
