Material Handler

Two Month Opportunity, June 9 th - July 18th Material Handler Job Description The candidate will be working half of the time in the material handling department, where they will be responsible for obtaining stock for departments, kitting, and performing cycle counts. The other half of the time will be spent in the inventory control area, where they will perform inventory counts and investigations, review shortages, and ensure all transactions and documentation are timely and accurate. Responsibilities Obtain stock for various departments. Perform kitting and cycle counts. Conduct inventory counts and investigations. Review and address shortages. Ensure transactions and documentation are accurate and completed on time. Essential Skills Inventory management expertise. Material handling experience. Proficiency in SAP with a minimum of 2 years of experience. At least 1 year of warehouse experience, ideally 3 years. Cycle counting knowledge. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma. Work Environment This role is based on-site with a day shift schedule from 7 AM to 3 PM. The facility offers a cafeteria for hot lunches, a locker room, and free parking. The warehouse is clean and odor-free, exclusively dealing with electronic parts. You will be part of a team of six, working alongside one manager and other team members. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Kanata, Ontario. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 / hr.
