Overview

As the Client Solutions Manager on the Select team, you will provide outstanding client service to Gallagher's Small Medium Clients. While working on a fun and collaborative team, you'll get to carry out a wide range of duties. You will be managing an existing portfolio of clients - driving the renewal cycle, handling day-to-day policy updates, talking and building relations with insurers and marketing policies.

Work Environment: Hybrid (Agile) – We, at Gallagher, enjoy the benefits of working remotely while also collaborating and interacting with each other in the office.

How you'll make an impact
  • Supporting a designated portfolio of small and medium business clientele, playing the lead role in business retention and continually building upon customer relationships.
  • Evaluate accounts at renewal, taking the vital steps in placing coverage required by the client, re-marketing when required, adhering to binding authority set out by carriers.
  • Respond to client inquiries quickly and efficiently, maintaining the quick turnaround time for any actions required on behalf of the client.
  • Recognize upselling and cross-selling opportunities, driving the creation of quality leads, working with Account Executives in binding the client.
  • Consistently acting to upgrade insurance market knowledge, staying ahead of new products and policy updates.
  • Work with Account Executives on cross-selling opportunities and accessing resources within Gallagher.

  • Highly tech-savvy, with an ability to learn new systems, tools, and processes.
  • 2 to 3+ years of Commercial Insurance Brokering experience and/or experience as a Commercial Underwriter.
  • CAIB, CIP, CRM or other relevant certifications/designations highly valued.
  • Active and in good standing Level 2 Nova Scotia License. Additional Licensing across the Atlantic will be considered a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of EPIC considered an asset.
