p>Position: Our Counsellors are responsible for providing direct social work service to clients in accordance with Centre policy and programs. Counsellors have sound knowledge of social work practices, experience in solution-focused therapy, with excellent interpersonal skills. This position will report directly to the Clinical Supervisor and Programs Manager located in our Sarnia office.
  • Provide short term strength-based counselling to individuals.
  • Maintain administrative duties and case notes in accordance with Agency and College standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge about the range of services provided by FCC and by other community service providers.
  • Participate as an active member of the Family, Couple, Individual Counselling Team.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Experience providing short term counselling from a Trauma informed lens.
