Angular Developer

This is a key role for a major IT services firm working with a top US bank in Canada. To be eligible, candidates must have legal work status in the country. The client location is Mississauga, Ontario. This is a hybrid position, requiring three days of in-office work per week. Salary and benefits are at market rate.

We seek an experienced Angular Developer to join our team as we continue to expand our technology offerings. In this critical role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using cutting-edge Angular technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create scalable, responsive, and user-friendly web applications by adhering to best practices in Angular development.
  2. Write clean, efficient, and well-structured code in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
  3. Analyze products to identify areas for improvement and optimize their performance.
  4. Collaborate closely with other team members, including UX designers, project managers, and backend developers, to ensure seamless delivery of quality projects.
Required Skills:
  1. Hands-on experience with AngularJS, Angular 8 and later versions, and TypeScript.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  3. Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and how they impact user experience.
  4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, enabling you to identify and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
  5. Advanced knowledge of CSS, HTML, and cross-browser compatibility techniques.
  6. Proficiency in server-side CSS pre-processors like Stylus and Less.
  7. Familiarity with Java and JavaScript (workflow and decision engines) is highly valued.
  8. Good grasp of Kafka and Mongo databases.
  9. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a keen attention to detail.
  10. Superior verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective collaboration and project success.
