Be among the first 25 applicants About the role As a senior risk management advisor, you assist with analysis, research and development to recommend risk management and supervision strategies and priorities. You lead and influence development projects and complex, highly innovative strategic initiatives involving multiple sectors. You help develop and recommend strategic directions and business positions. Your initiatives require extensive knowledge of your field. You make recommendations on the planning and execution of operationally and conceptually complex projects and initiatives that require comprehensive analysis and understanding of the organization and line of business. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in a wide range of other fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. You serve as expert advisor and subject matter expert, as well as resource person and coach for senior management and decision‑making bodies. Responsibilities Analyze user needs and lead data collection, processing and analysis mandates that are related to complex business issues and that may lead to business positions and recommendations on strategic directions Develop and update innovative and highly conceptually complex reports and make recommendations to guide the sector's strategic decision‑making Target opportunities to improve work methods and processes, and recommend improvements to data management tools From a data collection, processing, analysis and interpretation perspective, represent teams dealing with senior management and decision‑making bodies Perform descriptive and diagnostic data analyses for large, multidisciplinary strategic mandates and make recommendations to decision‑making bodies with data collection, processing and analysis in mind Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field A minimum of eight years of relevant experience Knowledge of French is required Other combinations of qualifications and experience may be considered Benefits Competitive salary and annual bonus 4 weeks of flexible vacation starting in the first year Defined benefit pension plan that provides predictable, stable income throughout retirement Group insurance including telemedicine Reimbursement of health and wellness expenses and telework equipment Benefits apply based on eligibility criteria Diversity & Inclusion At Desjardins, we believe in equity, diversity and inclusion.
