ZPI is currently seeking an experienced front end software developer to work closely with our development team to continue development on the ZPI software product lines. Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Design and create front-end user interfaces/layouts for web-based applications.
  • Perform front-end maintenance/change requests as assigned.
  • Review mock-ups created by designers to ensure they are technically feasible, optimized for implementation, and effective on mobile and desktop.
  • Advise stakeholders on scope of work, flag potential delays, and make recommendations for more efficient solutions.
  • Ensure code is optimized for speed and scalability.
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Minimize QA issues by reviewing and testing your work across multiple devices and browsers.
  • Coordinate with back-end developers on joint projects.
  • Adhere to all technical, branding, and web content accessibility guidelines.

  • Bachelor's degree/college diploma in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in front-end development or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing scalable, complex features.
  • Experience in implementing front-end frameworks such as React working with Material UI or other component libraries.
  • Strong knowledge of source-code management and delivery platforms such as Team Foundation, GitHub, Jira, Azure Dev Ops, HTML, SASS, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
  • Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
  • Good documentation/annotation habits.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of projects and deliverables.
  • A portfolio or examples of work showcasing your expertise in front-end technologies.
