Product Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Support Specialist to join our Product Research team at Fidelity Canada.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our Investment Analysts, supporting the production of high-quality materials for our sales teams and clients. As a key liaison between our investment staff and product managers, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of fund updates, research reports, and other product-related materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build, update, and maintain presentations for Portfolio Managers, performing data quality reviews and maintaining fund updates.
  • Identify and implement solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness through process elimination, simplification, and automation.
  • Partner with Investment Analysts to support the production of fund update pieces for sales teams, ensuring best-in-class materials.
  • Support Product Directors on ad hoc queries for product information and data analysis.
  • Act as primary product content manager, coordinating and submitting material for marketing and compliance review.
  • Oversee regulatory reviews through data analytics for the Product Research Team, including Fund risk and category analysis.
  • Liaise with 3rd party data vendors.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of financial services experience, preferably with investment product experience.
  • Understanding of investing principles or demonstrated curiosity.
  • Proven ability to analyze, condense, and communicate complex data.
  • High attention to detail, including accuracy and writing style.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Ability to work with various stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to coordinate time requirements and manage personal work to deadlines.
  • Completion of 4-year university degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.
