We provide local service from rebar fabrication shops across North America and invest in our people to deliver the highest level of service to our customers.PURPOSE: Assist the project team in coordinating detailed projects, maintaining proper recordkeeping, ensuring on‑time delivery of materials, and managing change orders while fostering a positive customer service environment.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesAdhere to Nucor Rebar Fabrication’s safety programs and standards.Conduct consistent with Nucor Rebar Fabrication’s vision and values.Contact customers at project start and coordinate all aspects proactively throughout the project.Coordinate project requirements with contractor and detailer to ensure submittals and delivery meet customer schedule.Attend site meetings with detailer as required to support customer focus.Produce necessary documents and coordinate orders in the business system.Assist supervisor in reviewing projects and help resolve discrepancies.Maintain contract file, monitor lump sums for over‑runs, and final invoicing per standard contract management procedures.Manage and place orders for non‑rebar materials as required.Track change‑orders through the business system.Develop a working knowledge of CRSI Manual of Standard Practice, reinforced concrete construction, and other industry practices.Perform other duties as required by management.Minimum Qualifications and Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED.Minimum two years of hands‑on rebar placing experience or experience as a construction foreman with strong familiarity in rebar installation.Strong understanding of how construction jobsites operate, including coordination with trades, reading drawings, site sequencing, and safety compliance.Excellent communication and time management skills.Independent judgment and excellent organizational skills.Able to coordinate multiple projects and work under deadline pressure.Critical thinking skills and the ability to creatively problem solve.Preferred Qualifications and EducationTwo to three years’ experience in a construction environment.Extensive knowledge of reinforcing bar placement, detailing, and concrete reinforcement practices.Experience in customer relations and resolving problems or disputes.Red Seal Ironworker Certification.Physical DemandsMust be able to work overtime when required to meet operational demands.Typical office activities.Walking, sitting, standing, bending.Using hands to operate objects, tools, computers and other electronic equipment.Lifting/handling computers and related equipment.Vision abilities including close vision and adjusting focus.Moderate noise level.Nucor Rebar Fabrication is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
