We are seeking an EHS Manager to provide leadership, direction, guidance, and support for the planning, implementation, and operation of our Environmental Health and Safety management system.
Responsibilities:- Build the Environmental, Health and Safety Capability of Leaders at all levels in the Site.
- Serve as the subject matter expert and manage the implementation and ongoing operation of corporate driven EHS programs.
- Represent the organization on government and industry committees.
- Conduct Hazard and Risk Assessments to identify areas of opportunity and develop actions to eliminate or mitigate hazards and risks.
- Assure the implementation of annual EHS compliance goals and targets.
- Provide employee EHS training and education programs and health and safety training and orientation for new employees.
- Collaborate and influence at all levels to action the EHS Agenda.
- Leadership skills - ability to influence and take others with you.
- Cross-functional knowledge of business operations.
- Business Acumen - good analytical skills and communication.
- Communication skills - verbal and written.
