This role will be part of the Health, Safety, Security and Environment team for a major national account and will manage the environmental compliance program.**What your day-to-day will look like:*** **Regulatory Compliance** - Liaise with regulators, research standards, prepare submissions, and maintain registries including federal fuel storage tank registry* **Hazardous Materials Management** - Implement and maintain inventory systems, prepare documentation, maintain logs, and review vendor materials* **Auditing** - Develop audit plans, organize documentation, track corrective measures, participate in audits, and prepare reports* **Reporting** - Prepare and update monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reports* **Incident Management** - Monitor incident management systems and assist in investigations* **Program Development** - Research and update safety programs (Asbestos, Confined Space, Halocarbon Release) and conduct hazard assessments* **Training Management** - Ensure team compliance with required training, maintain training databases, and assess course compliance with legislation**Required Qualifications:*** 3 years of experience in managing environmental programs and management systems* Relevant post-secondary education in occupational health and safety or environmental studies* Proven success with high hazard prevention programs* Strong regulatory compliance management track record* Vendor collaboration experience supporting safety objectives**Preferred Qualifications:*** Professional certifications an asset (CRSP, ROH)* Bilingual (French/English) preferred* Facility operations experience preferred* Claims management experience is an asset**Location:**Remote –Mississauga, ON, Ottawa, ON, Toronto, ONIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements.
