Dental Lab Denture Technician

Hallmark is a Halifax based dental lab serving dental clinics and their patients in Atlantic Canada. We are looking to hire a skilled and creative dental lab denture technician to join our growing lab. Your duties will include setting teeth and processing complete dentures, partial dentures and implant supported dentures. Our ideal candidate is someone with previous experience in high-end esthetic cases and implant supported cases.To ensure success in this position, you should have extensive knowledge of all dental technologies and use your expertise while creating a safe and pleasing environment and high-quality products and services. We require a candidate with strong communication skills as you will work closely with our dentists and clinics in a co-treatment relationship.Dental Lab Denture Technician Duties & Responsibilities:Set teeth for complete and partial denturesGingiva esthetic wax up (festooning)Gingival cutback and pour on milled PMMA archesTrim and polish denturesTrim and polish denture products (custom trays, guides etc.)Assemble digital denturesCustom shades for denture productsSandblast and Bond repairsDenture processing (Pack, Ivobase, Pour, etc.)Communicate with support for denture hardwareWork chairside with dentists to convert denture cases to implants and implant supported casesKeeping up to date with new dental technologies and advancements in the fieldDental Lab Denture Technician Requirements:Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlinesExcellent attention to detailTechnical knowledge of dental procedures and equipmentComprehensive understanding of dental implants and implant supported casesMinimum of five years denture experienceExcellent communication skills are essential for workingwith dentists and clinicsWritten and verbal communication skillsHallmark has been in the community over 40 years. The lab is the largest dental lab in Atlantic Canada and one of the most technologically advanced dental labs in the country.
