You will:Lead and supervise team membersOffer mentorship and guidance to help team succeedDetermine schedules and assign workloadsCoordinate and review logistics including deliveryMonitor delivery fleet and ensure timely serviceReview and optimize delivery routesManage inventory including received shipments and logged stockMaintain organization of products for efficient pickingIdentify service concerns or delays and implement solutionsDrive process improvement to enhance operations and customer experienceWhat you bring to the jobTo excel in this role, the ideal candidate has the following:Leadership experience in a similar environment, overseeing operations with best practices in safetyStrong working knowledge of effective processes within lumber yards and/or warehousesExcellent organizational skills in staff schedules, inventory management, and delivery operationsKnowledge and familiarity with building/construction materialsStrong communication and people skills with colleagues and customersFamiliarity with scheduling systems and inventory management softwareI really look forward to hearing from you, but please understand that I will only be contacting those who are applicable for the roleOptions Consulting Solutions is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from all individuals.
