Primary Responsibilities: Prepares process planning for manufacturing of complex aerospace components and assemblies. Develops processes that are repeatable, reliable, reduce variation and ensure product quality Interprets customer part definition documents including analysis of drawings, models, specifications Maintains product integrity by complying with applicable customer specifications Creates manufacturing bills of material Produces shop floor documents outlining the sequential processes on how to manufacture parts ensuring all features of the engineering design have been included in the final product CAD Fixture Design for assembly and machining processes, as required Reviews and incorporates engineering changes and revisions as required Works with the engineering team to design processes that optimize the balance between tooling and overall manufacturing costs Develops and evaluates manufacturing processes by studying product requirements and designing and testing manufacturing methods and equipment Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow Technical focal point for Continuous Improvement Interacts as required with manufacturing, quality, program management, purchasing, etc. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies Consistently follows PCC quality and safety policies and procedures

Skills and Abilities: Engineering degree or diploma (Mechanical, Manufacturing or Materials) wo years minimum, post-graduation, in an Engineering/Manufacturing environment Familiarity with working to industry standards. Experience working with aerospace standards would be an asset Knowledge in Assembly Processes and Metal machining processes an asset Sound working knowledge of GD&T Ability to learn and apply relative codes and standards Advantageous to offer knowledge of CAD, CATIA, Unigraphics NX CAM, Vericut, and MS Office products Familiar in the use of MRP/ERP systems. Conceptual to Realization design skills Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality work within tight time frames and simultaneously manage several projects. High energy level with the ability to work flexible hours
