Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM is hiring a Municipal Roads Civil Engineer to join our Transportation team in Ottawa, ON.This is a great opportunity to work on impactful municipal infrastructure projects and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.Key responsibilities include but not limited to:Design and deliver municipal road infrastructure projectsPrepare engineering reports, calculations, drawings, and specsEnsure compliance with municipal/provincial design standardsProvide mentorship to junior staffCoordinate with internal teams and external stakeholdersDeliver projects on time, on budget, and to client expectationsQualificationsMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering2+ years of municipal roadway/highways/linear municipal servicing design experiencePreferred Qualifications:Ideally 4+ years of municipal roadway/highways/linear municipal servicing design experienceEIT in OntarioSkilled in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation/Bentley, InRoads/OpenRoadsKnowledge of OPS, TAC, and municipal guidelinesStrong communication and problem-solving skillsExperience in urban/rural road design, intersections, and active transportationAble to work independently and in teamsFrench language skills are considered an assetExperience working for other Ontario municipalities will be considered an asset.Additional InformationSponsorship assistance not providedRelocation assistance not providedOffered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
