As part of Kiewit, we are integrated with 135 years of construction and engineering excellence that provides wholistic solutions, differentiating our team from the rest of the industry.LocationDarlington ON.ResponsibilitiesMaintain a document control system that meets the needs of the project.Ensure all project‑related documentation is accurate, complete, and up‑to‑date.Manage the distribution and retrieval of documents, including hard copies and electronic copies.Develop and maintain document control procedures and processes.Ensure all documents are properly labeled and tracked.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.Train project team members on document control procedures and processes.Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper document control coordination.Manage and maintain a centralized document repository.Maintain a log of all project‑related documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and change orders.Ensure timely and accurate distribution of documents to all necessary parties.Communicate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with document control procedures and processes.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience in document control, specifically in the construction or engineering industry. Nuclear market is a plus.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge of construction terminology and processes.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.Other RequirementsRegular, reliable attendance.Work productively and meet deadlines timely.Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines.
