Position: Global Mobility Tax – Senior Manager As a Senior Manager, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Your role is essential as a tax technical business partner, providing value to clients while leveraging local and global teams in areas such as policy development, payroll, immigration and automation. Your main objective is to be a trusted tax advisor to clients, helping them reduce tax‑related risks while ensuring that the organization and its employees benefit from a comprehensive global mobility program that adheres to relevant tax laws. Responsibilities Lead and coach Vialto teams, recognising strengths and developmental needs while building an atmosphere of trust. Resolve issues that prevent the team from working effectively. Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build meaningful recommendations for clients. Use multiple information sources, including stakeholder views, to develop solutions to complex business problems. Accurately review and sign tax returns and related deliverables for globally mobile employees within designated deadlines. Offer specialised advice and strategic recommendations on tax, payroll and global mobility policy. Ensure precise payroll tax and social‑security contribution calculation and reporting in tandem with clients’ finance and HR departments. Provide specialised tax advice on assignment structures, tax treaties and tax‑efficient benefits. Stay informed on international tax law developments and discuss relevant changes with clients to advise on impact and opportunities. Introduce clients to other service lines to address cross‑functional issues and collaborate with SMEs for integrated solutions. Conduct in‑depth research on country‑specific tax issues, especially in areas where the organization operates. Collaborate with clients to implement global mobility tax strategies that minimise liabilities for both company and employee. Actively seek new business prospects within the existing client base through a deep understanding of changing client needs. Expand the client portfolio and nurture relationships to drive revenue growth. Analyse market trends and competitive landscape to identify potential growth areas and opportunities. Qualifications Extensive Canadian / US tax technical knowledge and experience in expatriate tax planning and global mobility policy design. Proven experience growing revenue by identifying client needs and developing solutions, while maintaining client relationships. Exceptional skills in managing resources, project workflow, budgets, billing, collections, and preparing complex written and verbal material. Ability to create a positive environment by monitoring workloads while meeting client expectations and respecting team work‑life quality. Ability to provide candid, meaningful feedback promptly and keep leadership informed of progress and issues. Knowledge of automation and digitisation in professional services, including experimenting with technologies and analysing large datasets to build models. Proven ability to develop and negotiate pricing strategies with clients, reviewing contracts and introducing new pricing options. Bachelor’s Degree. US CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent designation. Minimum experience: 7 years. Additional Information This is a hybrid role, with a minimum expectation of two days per week in the office.
