Our client is a well-established General Contractor with a presence across southern Ontario specializing in ICI projects.

Job Description

Senior Estimators Main Duties and Responsibilities include:

Engage in project development activities, including defining and clarifying scope, preconstruction planning, and developing control estimates for delivery.Oversee the preparation and execution of detailed quantity takeoff estimates, highlighting risks and opportunities.Confirm if there is a site visit and arrange attendance.Work with Subcontractors to understand their requirements.Negotiate and award contracts.

The Successful Applicant

  • 8+ years of estimating experience in positions leading up to Senior Estimator role.
  • Experience in ICI design build and renovation projects.
  • Experience bidding on projects between $1M - $30M.
  • Experience conducting comprehensive quantity takeoff estimates while identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Ability to be client-facing and increase project pipeline.
  • Familiar with project management and estimating software programs.
  • Ability to work on a wide variety of ICI projects.
