Committed to safety and quality, we foster a workplace culture that values innovation and sustainability.Job TitleGeneral Foreperson MillwrightLocationNorth York, Ontario (Metro site, Greater Toronto Area).Start DateDecember 1st, 2025 (first month at Metro site; maintenance roles across Greater Toronto Area starting January 2026).Shift ScheduleMonday to Friday, 8‑hour days.Weekend overtime may be required based on client needs.Orientation – 8 hours – paid.CompensationPay Range: $73.75 – $77.63 per hour.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide direction and coordination to crew members to ensure safe and efficient execution of work, assist in planning daily activities, review hazards, verify materials, permits, and equipment, and monitor progress while communicating updates to supervision.Ensure completed work meets FLINT & client quality standards before sign‑off, foster a positive team environment, and resolve on‑site issues.Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals; inspect and diagnose mechanical problems on industrial equipment and rotating machinery; perform precision alignment of motors, pumps, gearboxes, and shafts with specialized tools.Oversee assembly, installation, and securing of machinery using bolting, welding or fasteners; conduct repairs and rebuilds on pumps, compressors, bearings & related components; operate rigging & lifting devices; execute basic machining, fabrication, and welding tasks as needed.Install and service hydraulic & pneumatic systems, perform preventative maintenance & equipment condition monitoring, follow all FLINT & client safety procedures & compliance requirements, and ensure accurate, timely documentation of all work activities.QualificationsMinimum 3 years maintenance experience in fuel terminals. Vibration analysis on pumps is an asset.Interprovincial Red Seal Millwright Certification or Ontario Certificate of Qualification.Valid driver’s license & clean abstract; reliable transportation to site; meet all site access & pre‑employment requirements including Suncor‑assigned web‑based training.Completed Petroleum Mechanic Training (PM03) preferred; current safety certifications: WHMIS, Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform, Confined Space Entry, CSTS.Experience obtaining, managing, and completing work permits; working safely on live systems using Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) & isolation protocols.Physically capable of lifting/moving heavy materials; standing & working extended periods; able to work in industrial environments including heights, confined spaces, variable weather.Additional InformationPosition is safety‑sensitive and requires completion of drug and alcohol testing.Our Commitment to Our PeopleYour work will matter – projects serve communities for generations.Your growth is our priority – we invest in development and advancement paths.Your voice will be heard – ideas shape how we tackle challenges.Your team will support you – success‑focused culture.As you grow, FLINT grows – recognition for contributions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
