Our team is at the forefront of innovation in the telecom industry, and we are committed to delivering exceptional support to our customers and partners. Join us to be part of a collaborative environment where your expertise and dedication will directly impact the success of our cloud platform and its users.You will be a key point of contact for our customers and partners, helping them to optimize their cloud deployments on our platform, which supports 5G and other telecom solutions for network core and edge.You will collaborate closely with telecom customers and partners to understand their unique cloud deployment needs and ensure they are fully supported throughout their journey with our platform.You will serve as the initial point of contact for investigating customer issues, providing prompt and effective resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction.You will maintain strong relationships with customers and partners, acting as their primary engineering liaison for any inquiries, technical issues, or support needs.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESProvide Tier 3/4 level customer support, troubleshooting platform and software issues for internal teams, customers, and partners.Work as part of a team focused on customer and partner priority and remediationWork with the most dynamic and exciting open-source software projects today – Kubernetes, OpenStack, KubeVirt, Helm, Ansible, Puppet, OSTree.Develop and deliver platform troubleshooting and test features with high quality design and code.Stay current with the latest advancements in OpenStack and related core technologies, incorporating them into the platform where appropriate.Investigate and resolve issues reported during product verification for customers and partnersServe as point of contact for investigating, resolving, and communicating issues with customers and partnersMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.5+ years of professional software development or SRE experience with Bachelor’s2+ years of programming experience with Python2+ years of programming experience with C/C++ preferred1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of professional experience in building infrastructure software for highly scalable and distributed systems or performing SRE functions for cloud platformsPassion for mentoring other developing engineersStrong analytical and debugging skills.Prior telecom experience including 5G, ORAN, VRAN, network cloudDeep understanding of OpenStack architecture and components, including Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Keystone, and othersWorking knowledge of Containerization, Kubernetes (K8S), OpenStack, etc.Track record of building and delivering mission critical, 24x7 production software systemsContribution to OpenStack community or related other open-source projectsBasic knowledge of Cloud storage solutionsWorking knowledge in L2/L3 networking and OVSStrong sense of ownership, urgency, and driveExcellent written and oral communication skillsExperience with Cloud native solution and track record of low-level software development for 24x7 production software systemsExposure to Python, C/C++, Go-lang, Ansible, Helm, Puppet, SQLPublic cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)BENEFITSNamed Top Workplace for the 8th year in a rowWind River’s commitment to DEIB100% Employee covered Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance*Flexible Time Off policy* + 12 observed Holidays401K with company matchHealth Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA)Wellness Benefits through Unmind #J-18808-Ljbffr
