Additionally, colleagues can contribute directly to a TFSAFlexibility in How We WorkWe offer an agile workplace for several positionsAn option of a compressed work schedule supports work/life interestsCompetitive annual vacation time off and additional time off during our holiday closureGrowth and recognitionA comprehensive colleague recognition program and bonus programTraining and support for professional development and professional membership duesWe encourage you to learn more about Babcock Canada by exploring our website: babcockcanada.comIn this role, you will:Work closely with Project Managers (PMs) to establish and maintain program and project schedules in Primavera P6.Participate in setting and monitoring the performance measurement baseline of projects varying in size and complexity.Monitor schedule adherence during the project lifecycle and assisting with recovery plan development to protect the critical path.Develop and maintain suitable metrics and reports such as: s-curves, resource lookaheads, cost profiles, etc.Undertake Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis.Prepare scheduled what-if scenarios, providing analysis and interpretation of results.Gather data and provide updates to project schedules to produce reliable, informed schedule forecasts.Assist Program and Project Managers and the Sustainment PMO Manager to convey project data and information to all members of the project team and senior leadership in a timely manner that will support the decision-making process.Assist in the development and implementation of Projects Controls measures and metrics.Perform other duties as required.The ideal candidate brings:A bachelors degree, college diploma or certificate in Project or Business Management or other relevant field of study, with more than four years of related work experience.Demonstrable experience in Primavera P6 scheduling software.Experience with conducting Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis, using software such as Safran Risk.Experience in gathering, maintaining, reporting, and analyzing schedule data.Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.The ability to understand and adhere to procedures and policies.The ability to work with precision and accuracy, demonstrating excellent attention-to-detail and excellent record keeping skills.The ability to identify and implement innovative administrative solutions to increase efficiencies.Good judgment and a high level of confidentiality.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.The ability to function in a self-directed manner in a team environment, including personal workload management (organizing and prioritizing) with a focus on meeting deadlines in a high-paced environment.Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with subject matter experts, colleagues, and users.Project Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification (an asset).Experience working with the Department of National Defence (DND) and/or Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) (an asset).You are eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR ClearanceBabcock is committed to promoting a workforce without boundaries.
