The Timmins West mine is located approximately 18 kilometers west of Timmins, Ontario, one of the world’s most prolific gold camps. The schedule is 5-5-4, 10 hr shifts rotating days and nights each week. In this position, you will be responsible for receiving the daily crew line‑up, completing pre‑op checks and check sheets as required; inspecting the workplace and eliminating and correcting any hazards by following all prints and drilling instructions provided by the Engineering Department. Duties will include, but are not limited to, prepping the workplace, cleaning and reaming holes, drilling production holes for long‑hole stopes, drilling service holes as requested, installing or taking down services and venting and operating equipment as required. Please note that this role requires relocation to the Timmins area and is not a camp‑based position.
