Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title : Project AccountantLocation : Richmond, BCJob Type : Full-time (In-Office)Salary : $65,000-$80,000K Based on ExperienceOur client is a full-service development company known for designing and building high-quality multi‑family homes that combine luxury, livability, and thoughtful integration with the surrounding community.OverviewOur client is seeking a detail‑oriented and driven Project Accountant to support full‑cycle accounting for real estate development projects. This role plays a key part in tracking project costs, managing financial reporting, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy from project inception to completion.Key ResponsibilitiesManage job costing, project budgets, and financial forecastsPerform full‑cycle accounting, including AP / AR and general ledger managementMonitor and report on construction costs and cash flowPrepare internal and external financial reportsSupport draw processes and ensure lender complianceAssist with audits, internal controls, and regulatory filingsCollaborate with development, construction, and project teamsProvide ad hoc financial analysis and reportingQualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field2–3 years of real estate development and construction accounting experienceProficiency in SAGE or similar ERP systems; advanced Excel skillsStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsCPA designation or working toward it is an assetPreferredExperience with residential or mixed‑use development projectsValid BC driver's licenseLooking to interview and hire ASAP #J-18808-Ljbffr
