Senior Systems Integration and Test Engineer -WOMEJoin to apply for the Senior Systems Integration and Test Engineer -WOME role at Lockheed MartinThis position is part of the Rotary and Mission Systems business area, where employees across Canada support engineering, systems integration, training, sustainment and in-service support programs for Canadian and international military customers across land, air and sea.Specific Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will work on the Canadian Surface Combatant (CSC) program within the Ship Integration team. They will be responsible for supporting the design and certification of magazines on board River Class Destroyers (RCDs) through the WOME (Weapons, Ordnance, Munitions, and Explosives) Cross Product Team (CPT).The role encompasses the following responsibilities:Certification of Magazines to Def Stan 00-101Reviewing Ammunition routes for in harbour and at seaSupport WOME sub-CPT through regularly scheduled meetingsWork with Industry to ensure Ship Class Explosive Safety Report is completedAnalyzes ammunition safety informationEvaluates ammunition handling equipmentSupports Ammunition Operability Statements.Required skills, qualifications and experienceDegree or diploma in computer, electrical, mechanical engineering, naval architecture and/or combined Combat Systems Engineering experience5-8 years of professional experienceDemonstrated leadership skillsStrong teamwork skillsAbility to prioritize competing demandsMust be able to obtain North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secret security clearance.Desired skills, qualifications and experienceWeapons Engineering TechArmament backgroundAmmunition officerExperience with IBM Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) is considered an assetExperience in Safety and Certification of Naval vessels.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionIndustriesDefense and Space ManufacturingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Lockheed Martin by 2xDartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada #J-18808-Ljbffr
