About CBI Health’s Community Rehabilitation Services Working in communities across Ontario, the Community Rehabilitation Services team treats clients who have experienced mental stress injuries and motor vehicle accidents, focusing on a return to pre‑accident function. In our Traumatic Psychological Injury program, Occupational Therapists work with first responders and others who have experienced workplace trauma. They conduct in‑vivo exposure therapy, behavioural activation, facilitate trauma processing, coping and return to function. The program incorporates evidence‑based care and novel interventions such as virtual reality to promote leading‑edge mental health outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to become an expert in a growing niche within the OT profession. Occupational Therapists within our Complex Auto program assess and treat clients presenting with various physical, orthopaedic, cognitive and psychosocial impairments related to motor vehicle accidents. Working in a community setting, therapists complete in‑home and hospital discharge assessments, ergonomic assessments, concussion treatment, cognitive rehabilitation, mental health treatment and several other interventions. The program provides a ‘start‑to‑finish’ care model, guiding clients through every step of their recovery. Many OTs focus on one area of practice, while others prefer the variety offered by a mixed caseload. A signing bonus of up to $2,500. What You Need To Be Successful Registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle with travel up to 1–1.5 hours radius. Willingness to provide in‑vivo OT treatment in a variety of settings, including clients’ homes, workplaces and community. Passion for the profession, commitment to ongoing professional development, and dedication to providing excellent client care. Strong organizational and critical‑thinking, decision‑making and analytical skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Empathy and effective rapport building with clients and stakeholders. Experience in the private sector, particularly auto sector legislation and mental health, is an asset.
