Senior Manager, High Risk Client Management As a Senior Manager of the High‑Risk Client Management PEP team, you will support the Director by providing tactical direction and end‑to‑end ownership and execution of core risk decisions related to the identification, review, management, and escalation of high‑risk clients, including risk assessment and enhanced due diligence (EDD) processes to mitigate financial, regulatory, reputational, and legal risks at RBC. What will you do? Manage a team of 5‑10 AML Analysts and Managers tasked with conducting EDD investigations for PEPs. Ensure timely, accurate, and complete files across the team, using RBC standards and Enterprise policies. Partner with stakeholders to coordinate, route, and appropriately elevate HRC risk assessments. Create a culture that attracts and retains high‑performing employees. Develop and coach team members to achieve high performance. Provide candid and actionable feedback in line with RBC’s Leadership Model Behaviours and Values. Assess training and development needs of the team and maintain mandatory RBC training. Assist the Director in creating, reviewing, or maintaining HRC policies and procedures. Liaise with the PEP committee and other internal partners to identify and support program enhancement opportunities. What do you need to succeed? Must Have Post‑secondary education or equivalent experience. Demonstrated expertise in financial crime and/or AML investigations, oversight, or advisory services. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including policy writing. Experience coaching and developing team members. Strategic skills to build and maintain program design enhancements. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and transactional analytics. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. In‑depth knowledge of RBC policies and procedures. Nice to Have CAMS designation. Experience with US AML regulations. Language skills (French, Cantonese, Mandarin). What’s in it for you?
