Story Behind the Need

• Business group: Global Marketing Team. Candidate will be supporting the Global Acceleration Team – Identify opportunities for digital transformation and evolution within the organization.

• Project: Moving digital properties that are within Adobe Managed Services, moving on-prem to cloud platform

Typical Day in Role
The main function of a Business Systems Analyst is to perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications.

  1. Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
  2. Gathers requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers
  3. Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
  4. Supports one or more highly complex business processes
  5. Works on multiple projects as a project team member
  6. Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs
  7. Aggregates, analyzes, and organizes large volumes of data to derive actionable insights
  8. Assists in the development and execution of test plans to ensure solutions meet business needs
  9. Provides ongoing support and enhancements to existing systems and processes
  10. Ensures data integrity and compliance with corporate data governance policies
  11. Supports project management activities, including timelines, resources, and deliverables

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

  1. 5-7 years' experience required as a Business Systems Analyst within financial services
  2. Technical familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a requirement.
  3. Experience with migration to cloud required. Platform leveraged is AEM, will be moving AEM on-prem to AEM cloud
  4. Comfortable working in Agile frameworks and with tools like JIRA. Familiarity with Jira required as they will be writing user stories.
  5. Project management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines
  6. Ability to solve technical problems/processes and understand complex details
  7. Ability to increase operating efficiency with produce high quality technical solutions
  8. A high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems knowledge level
  9. Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions
  10. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach
  11. Ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Experience working in a highly matrixed organization

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, information technology, management information systems (MIS) or related field required.

• Certifications: IIBA advantageous, CBAP

They consistently take initiative and confidently share options, frameworks, and ideas.
