Responsibilities Lead the annual labour and overhead rate calculations Work on cost saving projects with operations and supply chain Work on activity based costing Analysis on contract margin and weighted average cost Clear accrued freight and purchases; requires investigation of any discrepancies Analyze and provide feedback on inbound transportation costs markups Analyze and provide feedback on outbound transportation costs markups Validate the labour IDs and ensure that the hrs allocation to production lines are accurate Own the MCPs (Matching Competitor Prices) rebate process which includes entering rebates, working with procurement to submit the rebates to the vendors and following up on the rebate outstanding to be received Support finance team with analyzing the GL accounts Support for Controller and Finance staff when necessary Complete all other duties as assigned by Controller Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, GMP’s and HACCP requirements Qualifications College/University diploma/degree in Finance or Accounting CPA designation preferred but not required 5 years’ of cost accounting experience Exposure to food manufacturing and distribution an asset Strong communication skills Interacts professionally at all levels both internally and externally Ability to give strong attention to detail and accuracy of work Time management and adaptable to change is important Strong knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel #J-18808-Ljbffr
