BC Children’s Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Interventional and Diagnostic Radiologist to join the Department of Radiology.

Located in beautiful Vancouver, BC Children’s Hospital is a 220 bed tertiary and quaternary care hospital serving all British Columbia's children and families.The successful applicant will join our collegial and dynamic team of 16 Pediatric and Interventional Radiologists delivering imaging services to BC Children’s Hospital and consulting services to the wider province of British Columbia. The radiology department is located within the Teck Acute Care Centre which opened in October 2017 and is equipped with state-of-the-art 3T and 1.5 T MRI, CT, US, Nuclear Medicine, fluoroscopy, radiography and angiography / IR systems.The Pediatric Interventional Radiology service is currently staffed by two part-time Pediatric Interventional Radiologists and provides the full range of Pediatric Interventional Radiology procedures including diagnostic angiography and vascular intervention, neuro-intervention, hepatobiliary and renal transplant intervention, vascular malformation therapy, long term vascular access, GI tract access and dilatation, joint injections, biopsy, pain management and oncologic intervention. Clinical responsibilities for the successful applicant will include up to 50% of clinical time in diagnostic Pediatric Radiology.Teaching and clinical research are integral parts of the role. The BC Children’s Hospital Department of Radiology is affiliated with the University of British Columbia and offers medical school, residency and fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology and Interventional Radiology. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills and aspire to advance academic radiology.
