We put you first: Flex and connected mode Telemedicine, Group insurance Employee assistance program (because we care about the physical and mental health of our people) Financial Benefits: Profit Sharing Plan, Retirement Plan with company matching, Stock Options & Annual flexible reimbursement program Base salary range for Plant Manager between 150 000 and 185 000 $CAD annually At our facility in Mississauga you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Packaging team as the Plant Manager: Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing plant while ensuring the safety of its employees and a safe environment free of all risks Ensure optimal execution of operations by achieving targets in terms of occupational health and safety, production capacity, standardization of operating costs and quality Lead compliance with Cascades’ business processes in the plant, in accordance with established business rules and best practices Develop and execute investment and asset maintenance plans, and meet return on investment targets Lead employee relations by fostering engagement, driving talent management initiatives, and providing coaching to support employee development and career growth Establish performance standards (availability, efficiency, OEE) in collaboration with the General Manager Collaborate in the implementation of optimization projects specific to your unit Foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensure the sustainability of Lean Manufacturing best practices Bring out the best in yourself Every day, our colleagues choose to respect their true nature by contributing with passion to our mission. Qualifications Proven leadership with 10+ years of management experience in the manufacturing sector, Pulp and Paper industry an asset. Inspiring presence—a collaborative leader who engages teams and drives excellence. Customer‑centric mindset, able to understand needs and craft solutions that elevate the customer experience. Coaching ability to guide and develop team members toward their full potential. Sound judgment for effective follow‑up, solution implementation, and decision‑making aligned with company priorities. Resilience and conviction to stand firm in challenging situations while generating support and buy‑in. Strategic foresight to anticipate the impact of decisions on your unit and employees. Exceptional communication skills, with tact and diplomacy to navigate complex contexts. People‑first approach to building a customer‑focused culture. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, for professional interactions. Tech agility to work confidently with various digital tools; knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is an asset.
