Role Overview:

We are looking for an Experienced Hydrogeologist to join our North Bay, Ontario office.

The successful candidate will play a key role in a wide variety of hydrogeology projects and join our dedicated team of professionals, working in a multidisciplinary team environment to support our clients in the mining and power & water industries. The ideal candidate will be proactive, motivated, and ready to mentor and support the professional development of junior engineers and scientists. This position includes opportunities for domestic and international travel and may involve extended fieldwork assignments.

• Planning and conducting site investigations, such as installing monitoring wells, pumping wells, packer testing, vibrating wire piezometers
• Characterization of baseline groundwater conditions
• Numerical groundwater modelling
• Water quality assessments
• Estimating groundwater inflows to open pits, underground mines, and seepage analyses
• Reporting to support impact assessments, feasibility studies, and mine site water management
• Working in the consulting industry and dealing directly with clients

Requirements:

• Master’s  degree with a specialization in hydrogeology
• Registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Geoscientist or Professional Engineer in Ontario.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
• Strong technical competence with a proven ability to think outside the box and provide innovative solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Pay and Benefits:

The estimated base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $ 150 ,000 CAD. p>
