Summary Reporting to the Director of Software and Data, the Manager of BI & Reporting is responsible for architecting and implementing BI, data warehouse, and reporting solutions to the organization, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. This position is accountable for end-to-end delivery of enterprise-wide data initiatives, providing technical leadership to development teams while serving as the key liaison between technical implementation and business stakeholders to ensure data solutions align with organizational objectives. General Responsibilities Leads end-to-end technical architecture and implementation of enterprise data solutions Architects and designs complex BI solutions, data marts, and data warehouses. Develops sophisticated SQL solutions and data structures. Oversees implementation of high-performing data solutions across SQL Server, Tableau, Pentaho, SSRS, and SSIS. Ensures architectural integrity and scalability of all data solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders, including sales, marketing, IT, and client services teams, to understand their needs and translate them into the creation of a data and reporting roadmap for the organization. Drives documentation and approval of complex business requirements. Ensure data normalization across all platforms. Ensure documentation of existing data, BI processes, and environment. Conduct code / query review sessions with team members. Ensure strict adherence to standards for all developed solutions. Continuously assess and implement BI best practices. Provide timelines and effort estimates for BI projects. Be on call 24 / 7 for emergency duties when necessary. Other duties as assigned. Required skills and qualifications Great attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical skills to assess data and drive decisions. Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues. Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing work conditions in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated with excellent time management High energy and positive attitude Extensive knowledge of Tableau and Pentaho, including data integration, dashboard creation, reports, and synchronization to other platforms. Specialized training in database management, data warehousing, data recovery, data standardization, and data modelling. Proficiency in Structured Query Language for data manipulation and querying, with a solid understanding of relational data structures and schema. Optimize BI solutions and queries to ensure fast and efficient performance, especially when dealing with large volumes of data.
