Position: Structural / Fabrication DesignerLocation: Uxbridge, ONSalary: $30 per hourIndustry: Fabrication/ Designing / SolidworksEmployment Term: Full Time / Permanent Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for developing and improving models for new and existing furnaces.
  • Finding any quality or performance-related issues and provide guidance in problem resolution.
  • Manages the modelling process from information request to final report.
  • Set clear guidelines for design and/or process changes.
  • Continuous improvement.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent required.
  • 3 -5 years of experience in structural/ fabrication design.
  • Previous experience with Industrial furnaces preferred.
  • Hands-on Solidworks experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to travel locally to meet with suppliers.
