Plastics Fabrication & CNC Laser Operator - Industrial Plastics 

Industrial Plastics & Paints is growing and we are adding a full time Shop Fabricator to join our store's team in Richmond

Job Details:

• This job involves cutting material to tolerance size, using standard woodworking equipment with a focus on acrylic plastic fabrication including bending, forming and polishing. 
• There is an opportunity to learn more advanced fabrication techniques for those with previous experience and motivation to learn.  We will teach the right person how to solvent weld and heat bend.
• Our ideal candidate would be someone with previous plastics fabrication and safe-use skills working with table-saws, table-routers, hand-routers, chop-saws and drill presses and a 100% customer-focused team attitude.
• Must have previous experience with or be willing to learn the operation of a CNC Laser cutting table.
• Consideration will be given to those with experience in acrylic fabrication (bending, forming, polishing).
• Must be able to quickly learn and master the identification of different industrial plastics materials in sheet, rod and tube formats.
• This role also assists the store sales team during busy periods with customer service, time estimations and working with customers to develop hand-sketch work instructions.
• The right candidate will be capable of keeping organized and managing incoming orders as well as offcuts and general shop upkeep.

Starting wage will be based on relevant work experience.

Wage: $22 - $26 per hour DOE plus $300 Bonus per month for achieving shop throughput objectives.
