Position: CMT Technician.Location: Trenton, ON.Pay Rate: $40 per hour.Industry: Aerospace / Maintenance & Repairs / AME-M.Employment Term: Full Time / Permanent. Roles & Responsibilities:- Conduct inspections and test to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards and identify any irregularities.
- Ensure all repairs and inspection is performed in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and in accordance with the guidelines.
- Ensure equipment calibration and maintenance to guarantee accurate and reliable testing outcomes.
- Provide proper training and guidance to junior technicians.
- Participate in root cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Post Secondary Education or equivalent in Aerospace Technology or related field.
- 4+ years of proven experience as a CMT Technician in the Aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (approved by TCCA or other applicable governing body)/ Military course or equivalent.
- Valid AME-M license/ DND equivalent certification.
- Currently hold or able to get Controlled Goods Program Clearance.
- In depth knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing processes.
- Good computer and MS Office skills.
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
