We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and assist in overseeing various aspects of our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the stock of manufactured parts and raw materials, programming a plasma cutting machine, setting the manufacturing schedule, creating simple designs, and overseeing the fabrication process.

Responsibilities:
  • Control the stock of manufactured parts and raw materials
  • Program a plasma-cutting machine
  • Set the manufacturing schedule to optimize production efficiency
  • Create simple designs in CAD and manufacture them
  • Follow through the fabrication process to ensure quality standards are met
  • Supervise operators to maintain a safe and productive work environment

Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field would be an asset, but it is not mandatory.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a similar role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
