School Portrait Photographer - OKANAGAN

We are looking to hire seasonal photographers for our Fall 2024 season (September to November/December) with the possibility of extending until the Spring of 2025.
 
We are seeking outgoing, friendly, and motivated individuals to join our high-energy team. If you possess a can-do positive attitude and an outstanding set of customer service or people skills, then we’re looking for you  During our busy season of September through November/December, our events occur up to 6 days per week including some evenings, so flexible working hours and a willingness to work a varied seasonal schedule are a must. A desire and ability to travel throughout Western Canada is also preferred.

All photography equipment will be provided. In addition to your hourly wage, drive-time will also be paid and, in certain conditions, kms will also be reimbursed at $0.55 per/km.
 Requirements:
  • A valid driver’s license and car insurance are required. (An “L” license  does not qualify.)
  • A reliable car is essential to carry equipment. (No EVOs or carshares)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada. 
  • Fluent English and basic computer skills are required.
  • Photography experience is not required but is preferred.
  • Customer-focused with strong organizational skills.
  • Travel to various schools in designated areas.
  • Experience working with children is an asset
  • The successful applicant must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check.
  • A warm and friendly personality that can work with children from kindergarten to grads as well as administrators and teaching staff.
  • You must be available for the paid training sessions that will run August 28-30, 2024.
  • Job will commence first week of September.
 Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend repetitively for extensive periods of time.
  • A fun, "work hard, play hard" environment
