Geoterra is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill an open vacancy for the Timber Cruiser position.

* This position will require significant fieldwork; travel is expected.
* Geoterra pays for all travel and accommodations, including per-diem while away from home.
* Wage: $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

*Accountabilities*
* Leading timber cruising and timber investigations.
* Assist in cutblock, road layout and assessments.
* Assist with the riparian and ecosystem assessments.
* Data collection and entry.
* Additional adhoc assistance requirements needed by the supervisor.

*Preferred Qualifications*
* 1-2 years experience as a timber cruiser in the British Columbia interior.
* Working knowledge of the BC Timber Cruising Manual
* Valid BC Drivers License.
* Registered member of the ABCFP as an RPF, RFT, ATE, ATC.
* Experience using CruiseMate application.
* Level 1 first aid.
* Provide a negative 12 Panel Drug and Alcohol Test upon hire.
* Provide a Drivers abstract with no major infractions upon hire.
