Baker

The Baker is responsible for carrying out the full range of duties of the position in a professional, responsible, accurate and timely fashion. The Baker will deliver exceptional customer service, foster customer loyalty, fulfill customer needs and actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement.

Reporting to the Bakery Manager, your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Brings a positive attitude each every day
* Greeting customers and assisting them with questions and recommendations
* Takes and fills bakery orders for customers
* Answers customers’ questions about food ingredients, cake designs and other aspects of the baked goods
* Arranges baked goods in the display cases and on shelves and counters
* Makes certain that displays are filled with products and not low on merchandise or empty
* Ensures that work areas are ready to service customers by cleaning surfaces, equipment, and floors
* Follows all food safety and sanitation procedures established by the company and other regulatory agencies
* Performing any additional duties assigned by the Department Managers

* You have an impeccable level of cleanliness, attention to detail and organization
* You thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt well to shifting priorities
* You are highly self-motivated and work well under minimal supervision
* You possess strong customer service skills
* You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* You work well with others in a high-pressure environment
* You have 1+ years of experience working in a Bakery Department or related field
* *You have a valid work authorization in Canada*
* *Must be available for morning shifts beginning at 6:00 am*

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.11-$20.39 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week

Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Monday to Friday
* Morning shift
* Weekends as needed
