The Technical Records Controller reports to the Director of Maintenance and is responsible for ensuring all accomplished aircraft maintenance checks, component changes and other aircraft related jobs are entered and tracked accurately within the Maintenance Tracking software. This work must be done in a timely and accurate manner to ensure compliance with Air North’s Maintenance Control and Policy Manual as well as Transport Canada’s regulatory requirements.

*Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Work cooperatively with all team members to support the achievement of work plan activities designed to achieve identified goals and
* Updating and entering data accurately into the maintenance tracking software
* Checking aircraft documentation, (i.e.: aircraft log-sheets, check packages, scheduled and unscheduled task cards, etc.) which have been completed by pilots and ACA holders for completeness and accuracy
* Preparing aircraft Journey Logs and ensuring Journey Logs are complete before aircraft depart
* Performing administrative or other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance
* Auditing flight log sheets and maintenance records. Manage third party filings in different systems

*Qualifications/Conditions of Employment*
* Grade 12 or equivalent
* Aviation experience would be considered an asset
* Minimum of one (1) year of experience using computer systems & processes to administrate data, records & information
* Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Information Management, or Mathematics/ Statistics would be considered an asset
* Previous Technical Records experience would be considered an asset
* Previous experience in a data entry/administrative environment
* Required to maintain a valid driver’s license (minimum class 5) with a clean abstract
* Must be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident or show proof of right to work
