*Heavy Duty Trailer Mechanic – *_Summit Trailer (Prince George, BC)_

We are looking for a journeyman heavy duty trailer mechanic who has the ability to work on new trailer rig-ups, perform commercial vehicle inspections and service a wide variety of commercial trailers

*Responsibilities:*
* Duties will involve completing services on heavy duty/commercial trailers as well as the repairs required to maintain the units
* Must be able to complete BC commercial inspections on heavy duty trailers (current valid inspectors license required)
* Proven ability to complete advanced repairs on all makes and models
* Advanced experience using computer diagnostic tools

*Education & Experience:*
* 3rd Year to Red Seal Journeyman in Heavy Duty Mechanic
* Must have heavy duty/commercial trailer experience
* Experience as a Lead Hand or Foreman a definite asset
* BC Safety Inspectors Certificate required
* Welding experience an asset
* Valid Class 1 with air an asset
* Team player with strong commitment to customer service
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills
* Basic computer skills and ability to learn in-house programs

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
