Industrial Mechanic

*Job Overview:*
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our team. As an Industrial Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment in our industrial facility. Your expertise in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, and customer service will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes. *We would consider a 4th year apprentice.* The expectation and condition of employment will be based on you writing your C of Q within a certain timeline.

*Duties:*
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, electrical malfunctions, and other problems
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed to meet specific requirements
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to guide repair and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with other team members to develop preventive maintenance schedules and strategies
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area

*Skills:*
- Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance principles and practices
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Familiarity with welding techniques for fabrication or repair purposes
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in repairs and maintenance tasks
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide excellent customer service
