Career Opportunity in Plastic Surgery
The Department of Surgery Division of Plastic Surgery is seeking a Locum Tenens replacement starting in May 2025 until February 2026.
The candidates will join a team of seven plastic surgeons providing comprehensive care in Brampton and Etobicoke and both will provide care primarily based out of Etobicoke General Hospital. The candidate will join a highly collegial team of surgeons with equitable division of resources (plastics/fracture clinic, minor surgery, and main operating room) and on-call duties. Regional on-call rotation is 1 in 8 with on-call stipend provided at 100%.
Qualifications
The candidates must have a Certificate of Registration to practice from the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario. Additional fellowship training in breast and microsurgery is an asset. The position requires excellent communication skills in English. Additional languages are considered an asset as we serve a highly diverse population.

Subspecialty services within the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery include primary and subspecialty hand surgery, comprehensive breast reconstruction, multidisciplinary skin cancer and melanoma, craniomaxillofacial surgery, and aesthetic surgery.
