Principal Enterprise Application Analyst/Designer

Location: Remote - Northern, Virginia

DoD Secret Clearance Required

Seeking an Army Data SME for the IPPS-A Army Military Pay (AMP) program to support the design and implementation activity.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of related experience.
  • Have a deep understanding of Army HR, pay, and/or financial business processes.
  • Experience with existing Army Pay and Human Resources data and systems.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple, dynamic priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Active or Interim DoD Secret clearance.
  • Must obtain SAFe Certified Agilist certification within 90 days of start date.

What you’ll get to do:

Work collaboratively with customers, business analysts, functional SMEs, system testers, and end-users in a fast-paced, agile environment.

  • Support design, documentation, and implementation activity for PeopleSoft HCM modules and interfaces.
  • Support backlog refinement sessions with the product development team to define, refine, and estimate work items with a common understanding incorporating inputs from a functional, technical, and user perspective (Definition of Ready).
  • Work collaboratively with Product Ownership and Business Stakeholders to prioritize work items.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, as well as the product development team during the development cycle to ensure the customer needs are being met.

Qualifications that are Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Agile SAFe process.
  • PeopleSoft HCM experience.
