To support this growth we have an amazing opportunity for a QA Test Developer. We are looking for a motivated engineer who is passionate about testing and ensuring we release high-quality software. The ideal candidate should have experience in testing software products, as well as hands-on experience with multiple testing activities including but not limited to functional, regression and automated testing.

What you'll be doing...
  • Write automated tests using Selenium, Playwright, REST Assured, Gatling or other test frameworks to identify software problems.
  • Maintain test automation framework and scripts for end-to-end tests.
  • Log defects with clear reproduction steps and detail defect artifacts in JIRA.
  • Coordinate and participate in feature requirements review for testability, sign off on test strategy.
  • Work closely with developers to assist in debugging, testing, and development of tools to help identify defects.
  • Available to help troubleshoot critical customer issues, including reproducing issues, analyzing application logs, or clarifying intended feature functionality.
  • Perform automated and manual testing, including regression testing for each release cycle to ensure software meets business and security requirements.
What you'll bring to the table...
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical field.
  • 3+ years of Experience as a Software Test Developer or as a Developer.
  • A good understanding of different software testing techniques and when to apply them.
  • Self-starter and quick learner with excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in UI automation using Selenium or Playwright.
  • Experience with testing RESTful APIs using Postman or REST Assured.
  • Knowledge of performance testing methodologies and tools like Gatling.
  • Familiar with continuous integration pipelines such as Jenkins.

The base pay range for this position in Canada is $76k - $96k / year + bonus.

The compensation offered will be determined by factors such as relevant qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills. Many of our positions are eligible for additional types of compensation (e.g., commission plans, bonus, etc.) which our Talent Acquisition team will share with you if you interview for the role.
