YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE: Reporting to the Reliability Supervisor, you will be part of the Process Plant Maintenance Department. You will be responsible in optimizing plant availability and throughput by improving asset reliability and integrity, using various engineering processes including but not limited to failure analysis, defect elimination, asset management strategy reviews and facilitating the development and implementation of improvement action plans. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and the environment. Oversee condition monitoring activities related to process plant equipment; Champion and implement world class reliability programs that will maximize production and profit by minimizing downtime; Conduct regular and formal downtime analysis for critical equipment; Analyze and collaborate with maintenance personnel on strategies and procedures and make recommendations to improve safety, efficiencies and quality; Act as a technical resource to assist the maintenance team with troubleshooting equipment issues and systemic problems; Perform RCA and implement correctives actions; Review and create PM plans and documentation for equipment’s; Operate in compliance with all applicable legal and engineering standards and specifications; Assist with the completion of risk assessments for maintenance activities and support the development of safe work procedures. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering; or Technologist with exceptional experience in a similar leadership role; Professional designation; Experience with equipment reliability programs is considered an asset; Exposure to project management techniques; Familiarity with mineral processing, specifically with crushers, SAG and ball mills circuits, bearings, pumps, etc. are considered an asset; Intermediate to advanced level knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, PI Vision/Historian and JDE. Your Work Schedule: Schedule: 7/7 or 14/14 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine; Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee.
