What you'll be doing

As the Senior Consultant, Authentication Services on the Identity and Access Services Management group within Information Security, you will interface with various partners and Lines of Business, equally focused on delivery excellence and continuous improvement in all disciplines and processes as they relate to Identity and Access Management, specifically Risk Based Authentication. You will play a key role in ensuring projects meet goals on time and on budget by increasing employee and stakeholder adoption and usage.

How you'll succeed

  1. Identity and Access Management process improvement – You will use your knowledge of market tools (Microsoft, CyberArk, ForgeRock) and their MFA solutions to deliver process improvement initiatives within Risk Based Authentication services.

  2. Project Management and Delivery – You will deliver on Modern Authentication Initiatives, liaise with the business teams on implementation and adoption of CIBC controls, Adaptive MFA capabilities and definition of access policies in line with overall Program.

  3. Zero Trust Champion - You will advocate for the improvement of multi-factor authentication processes, controls and communications across stakeholder groups. Where required, you will consult with Technology and other LOBs.

  4. Strategic plans and standards – You will contribute to the definition of our zero trust roadmap and policy development including promoting adoption of the Risk Based Authentication platform across the enterprise. You will also contribute towards the enhancement of technical service capabilities by staying abreast of industry technical and business trends through participation in professional associations, practice communities & personal learning.

  5. Leadership & Communication– You will collaborate with senior leaders across the organization and make informed recommendations to enhance information system security. You will weigh business needs against security concerns and provide risk-based recommendations to improve information systems security, which are practical and achievable, thereby allowing the Lines of Business to make informed risk conclusions.

Who you are

  1. You can demonstrate experience in Identity and Access Management and understanding of ITIL Service Lifecycle. It’s an asset if you understand Adaptive MFA and Passwordless solutions or have knowledge of OAuth, SAML, OpenID, FIDO, SSO and web protocols XML, SOAP, JSON, REST or have worked in a Cloud environment.

  2. You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and have 5 – 8 years of experience as an Information Security Consultant or a similar role. It’s an asset if you have a CISSP, CIAM or CCSP designation.
